Three weeks ago, a memo landed in the inboxes of thousands of federal workers: accept "deferred resignation" or face termination. The latest move by the Trump administration—engineered by Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—is a brazen attempt to strip the government of its ability to regulate Musk’s empire, eliminate public resources to fund billionaire tax cuts, and ensure that nothing stands in the way of their obscene accumulation of wealth and power.
Musk is doing what robber barons before him only dreamed of—turned the government into a concierge service for his empire. And so, under the banner of efficiency, the machinery of the state is gutted, its gears handed to the men who need governing most.
The response? A nationwide rebellion led by workers. This Wednesday, in more than 30 cities, federal workers will rally under the banner of "Save Our Services." Their demands: no cuts to vital services, no mass layoffs, and an end to the funding freeze straining agencies nationwide. This isn’t just about jobs—it’s about whether the government serves the people or the billionaires.
While the “resistance” to Trump in 2016-18 was largely led by middle- and upper-middle-class white liberals, this movement is powered by a far more diverse coalition of workers and unionists.
Workers Fight Back
On February 19, protests will take place from DC to Seattle. In Washington, federal workers will rally at the Department of Health and Human Services at Noon, demanding an end to the funding freeze. Later, they will march to SpaceX’s DC headquarters—pressuring Musk directly for his role in this government purge.
The goal is not just resistance—it’s building power to reclaim the public sector for the people it serves. Full disclosure, my organization (The Bloc) is helping out with the workers’ campaign.
On February 19, they’ll send a message: Hands off our jobs. Hands off our healthcare. Hands off our future. The only question now is: Which side are you on?
Federal workers are the backbone of America, ensuring that Social Security checks arrive on time, veterans receive the care they deserve, and communities recover from disasters. But now, billionaires like Elon Musk and his allies are attempting a hostile takeover of the government, trying to fire the very people who keep the country running. They want to gut protections that keep our food, water, and medicine safe, silence scientists researching life-saving cures, and undermine public services for their own profit. This isn’t just about jobs—it’s about whether the government works for everyday Americans or is hijacked by the world’s richest man.
That’s why we’re not backing down. We’re blowing the whistle and calling on the public to stand with us on February 19. Musk and his cronies are trying to push out dedicated workers under the guise of "voluntary" resignations, but we know the truth—this is an attack on essential services that millions of Americans rely on. If they succeed, your healthcare, benefits, and protections will be on the chopping block. We’re fighting back, and we need you to join us. Wear red, white, and blue, post with #SaveOurServices, and show up in cities across the country to stop this corporate coup.

As a federal contractor Musk, BY LAW, can NOT work in the U.S. government. Yes, there is legislation. Adam Schiff spoke name.
MUSK/TRUMP/-ILLEGAL! Arrest, try, send to prison for life as traitors.
